Because this tree was pollarded about ten years ago, the sap flow was stopped for certain branches and the corresponding roots.
Half the crown was cut off and can be seen lying on the ground after a few years.
The adhesion and outgrowth failed completely, resulting in a very unstable tree. Think twice before reducing a crown, form pruning or just chopping off a few meters of a tree.
