Telecom lane

After a well-known telecom company dug slits (1 meter from the trunks) in an old oak lane, we can see the results of all the roots that were damaged. The mortality of the crowns are a result of a loss of contact with the corresponding cooling system (the roots) which can’t be replaced or repaired that quickly. The tree then rejects the branches because keeping the branches has just become too demanding for the tree in question. Construction was finished 2 years ago. Jobs like this should really be completed manually (I know, not always feasible) or through horizontal drilling, but under the critical root zone.

Result: You get to wait another 80 years, before your lane will be restored to its original splendor.
This, in a nutshell, is why we created this website. We are here to explain the ‘tree rules’ to you, this way we hope that our grandchildren will pass on this knowledge, until looking after a tree’s best interest, has become second nature to all of mankind. That which we wish to tame, we also take responsibility for.
