| The cleaning ladies of the Beertjesschool, Molenstraat, Antwerp had noticed that “their” beech was withering away. We were so touched by their e-mail; we decided that their beech would be our project of the year.
The reason why their beech wasn’t doing very well is because they were digging a tunnel for a train right underneath the tree (20m). It cost us a summer, but the tree was saved! |
